So everything that goes on Behind the (*-*) Lens will now be posted on Chai Ki Dukaan... and that would mean, atleast one picture in a couple of days here...
thoughts?
ideas?
suggestions?
While you are thinking, here are some of the pictures that flickr thinks are the most "interesting" pictures I have taken...
What makes me happy is that the first picture is from my first trip with the dSLR to Orchha, and the second is a picture that I had taken a looong time back when I started thinking about taking photography seriously... Both of these pictures are very special to me, and I am glad to see them on the top still...
The rest are from a trip to Agra, McLeodganj, Pondicherry, Chattisgarh, Banaras, Moradabad, and Red Fort :)
And what makes this selection interesting is that it has 5 pictures from my trip to Chattisgarh where I went with Bindiya and Manas Da for the PMU Evaluation workshop and 1 picture from Sankalp, Moradabad... I would like to believe that I was at my best when I was doing these shoots for and with ASK... thank you Bindiya and ASK for giving me the best reasons to have a camera with me...
Details :
1. With Age...., 2. Waiting For the Rains...., 3. Wah Taj..., 4. Desires...., 5. I Can...., 6. Dark Windows, 7. My world... my thoughts..., 8. With her !!!, 9. No Matter What, 10. Shadow, 11. Pretty..., 12. A Silent Evening....
nice pic, each of them :)
ReplyDeletei think its a good idea to merge ur photoblog with chai ki dukaan...
u ll still hv ur flickr page exculsively for pics...
suggestion: pls post more foto-logs like u did on cirquie and christmas eve... nothing beats perfect pics and words put together :)
# Mayuri...
ReplyDeleteyea... These are the most popular pictures on flickr that I have clicked...
I think its a good idea too.. like you said.. I don't need two pages for dedicated pictures... I can manage with one... plus I would not have to maintain two separate blogs.. manage karna thoda aasaan ho jayega...
A few picture stories are due
1. British Museum
2. London Ledger
3. Pondicherry
and a few more that I can think of...
thanks for the suggestion..
i like it the way it is
ReplyDelete~me
i second 'me'..... though the choice is yours........
ReplyDeletei second me and aqui. but choice is yours
ReplyDeleteB'ful pics..nice clicks!!
ReplyDeleteI find the Pretty, Ages and Silent Eve d best.
waiting to c more on chai ki dukan :)
please keep the "thinking" and "clicking" seperate...
ReplyDeletewhen thinking and writing, u can always accentuate the same with ur pictures....
par jaise rishton mein milawat nahin karte...blogs mein bhi nahin karo...
I second the second opinion.
ReplyDelete# Me...
ReplyDeleteHmm... thanks..
Probably because you see the pictures on flickr and you don't want to see them here again :)
# Aqui...
Reasons?
Have not seen your comments on that blog in a while, not sure if you see the pictures or not... if they are here you might get to see the new pictures that i post...
# Tanu...
Reasons?
You usually commment there, you can comment here too... help !!!
# Piya...
thanks :)
# Anjuli...
hehhe... how i wish thinking and my clicking could have been kept separate... its IMPOSSIBLE...
rishte and blogs? heavy nai ho gaya zyada...
:)
# Anony...
Which is the second opinion?
majority wins....we are keeping blog and clicks seperate...otherwise we will do dharna, satyagrah
ReplyDeletefirst things first, thanks for the first smiley ever u gave me here:-)
ReplyDeletenow, flickr is the place where u combine the 'thinking' and 'clicking', so let it be that way.
here you think and write(and not click)just do that, put pictures if at all it is connected to what you are writing....
tu hai hi heavyweight, apne aap ho jata hai automatic u see...
That we don't want words and stills in one.
ReplyDeleteWords with stills look good, stills with words look even better, but here it won't be complementing....it will be ghuch puch.
You can, if you feel like it.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't make much difference to the bloggers/readers. If it's words they want to read they can do it and those who love pictures can do it too..Anyways i don't think a person who loves photography can keep away from posting the fav ones. It is a part of the person just as the words are.
If you feel comfortable and you think that your words and pics complement each other, why not?
Reasons as follows:-
ReplyDeleteA) it takes time for the page to load in this off alteast when u have more pictures on a particular post.
B) i like reading in a flow.
C) there are diff set of visitors for both..
C) i visit this page everyday atleast twice... and that page as u said i visit only sometimes and commenting i m a little hesitant since i would not like to comment on something i dont even understand the abc off.....
This is are my reasons but again as i say the choice is yours.... we will be happy to come to your blog watever the case may be :)
@ You...
ReplyDeleteDemocrazy hai re !!!!
it has to win :D
Bhookh hadtaal nai karegi tu? wo bhi karna please, main tereko phir apne haathon se juice pilaunga :D
@ Anjuli...
sach bolun... i did not understand your logic... par i will keep them separate :)
@ Anony...
okie doks... they will be separate...
ghuch puch nai machayenge...
@ Kay...
I really felt like it... and even though I really wanted to do it, I thought it might be a good idea to take an opinion before I take the step...
looks like a few friends don't really like the idea :) so i will drop it...
I still shall keep posting pictures here :) cannot and i don't post everything that I click on flickr...
@ Aqui...
Point taken.. but this page would still have loads of pictures dear...
Reading in a flow... umm... cannot promise that happening always.. the travel related posts ought to have a few pictures.. apologies if that interrupts your reading :)
and in the era of high speed internet connection, why are we talking about pages loading slow? my page has minimum graphics anyway :)
par points taken... and thank you for being around for so long... can't express in words how much I appreciate it !!!
satyagrah is bhok hadtal no ?? ok i am not good with hindi
ReplyDelete~ Sharanya...
ReplyDeleteNai re... Satyagrah can be done in a many ways... Bhookh Hadtal is one of them :)
Tu tension na le hindi ki... sab sikha dunga tujhe :)
They are all amazing, but I like the umbrella one the most...
ReplyDeleteBut, which one is the Red Qila one?
# Reeta...
