ReplyDeleteI hopped on to this post thru the flickr site. I love the picture of you and your dad together, resting your head on his arm. No matter how old we grow, our parents still bring out the child in us, a child that needs parents' reassurance every step of the way.
ReplyDeleteI know that I can usually take care of difficult situations bravely, but when I speak to my parents over the phone about them I kind of break down and become a little girl again!
Its very comforting to have them around. God bless parents, yours and mine and everyone elses'.
You are right Jas... parents can make you feel like a kid again... and a hug from them even a touch can be so comforting that anything else in the world does not seem to matter anymore...
ReplyDeleteyou just made me miss my folks too much :(
