WaTeR 'n' Us !!!

emotions are like water... and we humans like the rivers...

like water has the tendency to flow... our emotions also should flow freely.. reminds me of what tushar says... let it flow..

also there are dams.. dams where water is stopped... the natural tendency of water is challanged.. and that is when we make electricity.. because of the force that water generates when it falls on those turbines...

what if we do not let our emotions flow freely.. what happens then.. we become dams.. where this time.. the free flow of emotions is challanged by our mind and heart... and when they come out they come with such a force that they can cause a huge damage...

unless we are one of the those rare humans who have the ability to control ourself and use the energy only for good...

i would have to agree with tushar... let it flow... let your emotions be water.. let then find their own way... let them reach where they want and they should..

  2. dams also let u control the flow of water......its good to be free with emotions...but we need dams to keep a check on our flow of emotions........in terms of time(when to let it flow and when not), place (where u can freely let it flow) and people (others are not getting affected the flow)........

my thoughts on it.....i like the analogy .....water and us :)

  3. @ bastm : thanks... i was not planning to write it.. but then i thought.. what the heck.. lets go ahead....

@ deepu : i was looking at dams in a different context deepak... from the point which stops the natural tendency of an element.. water in this case.. yes there is a different side to it as well.. which you have aptly written too...

and thanks for being around to make me realise things which i miss out on in my posts...

  11. @ anony 1 : when others become dams to our emotional flow... well i guess this happens all the time.. at times in the office.. at times when you have someone u cannot speak in front of... i feel the best way out is hold yourself at time when the time really calls for it.. and let go... confide in yourself.. confide in a friend... talk to someone... let it come out... write it on a piece of paper.. and then throw the paper away...

@ deepu True... but there are times when you really cannot control the situations.. there has to be a situation first time.. and that is when we find out what can be done.. and most of all.. we learn more from what we go through and less from others experiences...

@ anony 2 : thank u so much for liking the way i write... i actually practice what i preach in this post.. just it it flow... will keep writing...
    and you keep coming back...

@ anony 3 right... being a human with a heart and mind... its tough to avoid conflicts a lot of times... but.. life still goes on... and we keep moving...

am not really in a mood to discuss this further... am enjoying my next post... everyone else is also requested to atleast read through it :)
