Leaving a few memories behind...
Of watching movies alone..
Of being sad..
Of Being happy...
Of dancing on Himesh Bhai's Songs..
Of getting up and hoping for an SMS to be there on my phone..
Of opening the eyes and searching for the keys in the dark...
Of having backaches and not being able to tell it to anyone..
Of spending many moments looking at my camera and the lenses and they looking at me :)
Of spending days without speaking a word...
Of being patient and being impatient...
Of making friends, and losing them...
Of expecting more, and expecting nothing...
Of being a kid and an adult at the same time..
Of smiles that came to my face for nothing, and smiles that went away for nothing...
Of buying my first plant and not taking care of it...
Of working out for two days...
Of messing up the disgusting Malaysian noodles... thank God for that :P
Of loving the aam ka achaar with chillies the most...
Of enjoying the Motichoor ke Laddoos thousands of kilometres away from home...
Of being ME most of them time !!!
I leave this room today.. which was my home for the last 3 months...
The gypsy moves...
Have a blessed weekend everyone !!!
Beautiful words Prashant:-)

All the best Prashant, hope you have a nice time in London!
ReplyDeleteLondon is a beautiful place Om. One never gets bored. Do take the tours that takes you to Stonehenge, bath, Leed's castle, Dover beach, Canterbury Cathedral etc. etc. And you would certainly enjoy the London's Arts Museum...Loads of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist work (like Monet (my fav "The Water-Lily Pond"))
ReplyDeleteLeed's Castle itself is okay but the green fields surrounding this castle is breathtaking. One can get some really good shots there (during spring though).
Also travel to the suburbs if possible, it is amazing...very natural and raw...
And there is a gift shop near Tower Bridge and that shop got featured in the tv show "Most Haunted"...do visit this shop to get that haunted feelilng :)...it is a pretty active place...be safe :)...
Have a blast. I so envy you!!
Beautiful post - could sense the nostalgia. It is amazing almost always to see you cherish everything that you do so much. God Bless you Om. Besties for the days to come.
ReplyDeletecontext and memory make some of the most ordinary instances memorable...
ReplyDeletehave a great time in your new base :)
I have always wondered why is it that when we leave something we appreciate all that was good in it..why sometimes the best things are left unsaid..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lines..the unsaid is what i loved the most!!
