how many times has this happened with you that you have felt like cryiing.. because of overwhelming emotions in your heart..
i was watching this program on Zee TV... Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challange 2005.. and the competetors there.. were A W E S O M E !!! they were so bloddy good with their singing.. that i found my heart heavy after the performances... God bless them all.. they are diamonds.. and the sparkle comes from their singing...
There are four mentors in this program... and they have their own groups.. and these mentors happen to be some of the most successful music directors in India.. they have their groups.. also called Gharanas.. and have names like Jai Ho, Yalgaar, Dum, and Lets Rock...
every week their students.. compete in a few rounds.. and some well known faces from the Indian Music Industry judge them and decide they have to move ahead in the show.. or go back home..
I was just watching the show.. and i could imagine how hard it was for them to choose amongst the ppl who were singing... they were brilliant... just super...
i sincerely do not have words to describe how well these guys were singing..
and then i could not resist comparing this program to another program Fame Gurukul on Sony Entertainment TV. what piece of shit that is... looks like everything is staged.. and when i compared the singers... it was like comparing the diamonds with some stones ( read no-comparison )
anyway.. i think i will watch the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa more closely now...
and then i remember another small incident when i had tears in my eyes.. and what happened then was something totally different.. i just laughed my heart out.. and water was coming out of my eyes...
hua yoon.. ke me and a friend were sitting in the Tea Shop.. in sector-37... and a small chuhiya came from under the shelf.. at full speed.. and this friend of mine... moved because she saw that mouse... and the mouse must have screamed on the top of her voice... and then she applied her brakes.. and then almost skid ..and then turned around... and ran in the opposite direction with phull speed... i know this does not sound as funny as it really was when it happened.. but trust me... i could feel what that small mouse must have felt... hehehhe... two giants in the front.. and she too late to realise it... hahahaha...
we just kept on laughing.. and laughing... till the time our stomach did not start hurting..
and ending the post on a nice note... one of my friends wrote two lines on the chat today... and i managed to ( i guess ) complete it...
abhi koi dil mein jashn hua hai
khamoshi khamosh hai
"khamoshi hai...
sukun hai...
tumhe aur mujhe dono ko maloom hai...
ke dosti ka saath... saath rahega...
aur saath uthaya har kadam yaad rahega"
:) the mouse incident does sound funny.u talk about looking like a giant in front of it...i was also wonderin the other day we must look like that to tiny little ants as well.
ReplyDeleteanyway, true about the fame gurukul.the singers are all bad.no song sounds good when they sing.
your poetry is good but i couldn't help notice that your friend's lines are not original.its that song from dus...deedar de!
but i love your continuation of it.
about the sa re ga ma pa thingy...i completely agree with you. As far as the chuhiya wala incident...my sympathies to the poor thing.
ReplyDeleteAlso the last 4 lines...you wrote it? very nice. its just that i wish to add
'dosti ka saath rahe na rahe...
har lamha woh khab palko par rahega.'
@ bastm :
ReplyDeleteya... giants... i wonder what they must be calling humans in their language...
fame gurukul is shit...
oh.. they are not original.. i did not know.. she just wrote them on the chat... and i followed it from there... i have heard the song... though do not remember the lyrics :)
@ kanika...
:) bechari chuhiya...
yupp.. i wrote the last 4 lines...
and wah wah for your 2 lines.. beautiful...
man i agree about that fame gurukul thing. everyday my folks fuck my dinner with it.
ReplyDeletehey that mouse incident sounds funny no doubt but whats funnier is to imagine two people in a tea shop laughing out loud !
