and i was disgusted with what happened... almost cried with anger... the way the policemen were beating up the workers @ Honda... merciless... takes away all my faith in that deparment... there were clips being shown over and over again as to how the Lathis of the policemen were being showered on hundreds of ppl.... disgusting... one big BLACK day in the history of Gurgaon and Haryana Police.. not to forget the pain that the people who were beaten up are going through... and their relatives who at time are struggling to find out where their loved ones are....
it all starting with the 4 workers being dismissed.. i have a few friends at HMSI, they were talking about some protests going on for the last month and a half... Honda has suffered major losses in that time period.. and after what happened yesterday.. i have serious doubts about how the things would get back to normal...
Shame on the Administration of Gurgaon, Shame on the Police Department of Gurgaon... Shame on those ppl who will generate some political mileage out of it instead of trying to improve the situation.
I think the whole world is going crazy,whenever i board the metro ,i think ..wow what if there was a bomb in here...london accused had terrorism as an excuse but this gurgaon incident ..seems u need no particular excuse( not that an excuse wd suffice to explain for even an infinitesimal fraction of the lives loss) to strike up violence....

was talking to the friend who was working for some delegates who came to HMSI... this is something that had started over 6 months ago.. when 4 skilled workers... were trying to make a union and take the workers in a wrong direction... they were suspended.. and to get them back the protests started...
ReplyDeletea few weeks back, some 1500 ppl had stormed the HMSI campus, and were shouting and in a mood to cause extensive damage to the building and its assets... anyway.. that did not happen.. and then this fine day... the LathiCharge happened... out of the entire mob, it was only 1/3rd which was the crowd of HMSI workers.. and the rest were arranged to create tension, by who.... well... the ones who are getting the maximum mileage out of the incident.. ppl who are not blaming that its the Chief Minister who failed here... its the government who failed here.... Looks like a properly planned activity to me...
and what happens now.. over a 1000 who were protesting against the suspension of 4 are now jobless, their kids would not have anything to eat.. they would not be able to work till they are fine again... and the pain and agony ppl associated with them cannot be imagined...
and HMSI is locked out.. the employees are home... one of the friends in NOIDA was sent back early yesterday and was told that she would be called when the office opens again... till then she can be at home...
The only ppl who gain here are the political parties... and the poor workers... God knows what is there for them !!!
these political leaders dont know how much are thy are hurting the country(Japan has already threatened) and poor guys who are atleast employed if not getting the same lifestyle as that of a Japanese labor.
