These are some sentences which I was listening to while getting Leh'ed.... some things make perfect sense... hehehehe....
Actually these are signs put up by the Border Roads Organization on various roads in Ladhakh :) Needless to say that BRO has done something on the Hills that no other agency can do... hats off to them for making the roads, and bridges in places where its hard to even breathe...
Yes they are very very interesting... and catch your attention without doubt...
One more that I remember was:
Better be Mr. Late then Late Mr.
another sign that told us about the attitude BRO lives with was:
If its impossible, it will take sometime,
It its difficult it will be done immediately...

ReplyDeletei loved their impossible waala quote....but i think as they are the worlds highest road makers they have earned the right to make such statements.
ReplyDeleteWe should also remember the number of lives they loose in making and maintaining these roads. We saw so many memorials on the road, dedicated to people who had lost lives working on these roads...
