The Good and the Bad !

Lets start with the good one... According to an article in the TOI, Delhi Police would help stranded women anytime of the day... which basically means if you are stuck somewhere please call 100 and a PCR would assist you shortly...

The decision is noble and well appreciated... what needs to be done is a proper implementation and then sustain it... make sure that records are maintained and published for the people to judge if this initiative is successful or not... if not anything else it might just help restore some faith that I am not sure how many have in the Delhi Police.

If the past has taught us anything, such initiatives do start but loose their steam in the early stages, either because of lack of properly thinking or planning !

So, good luck Delhi Police! I hope you do make a change !

And the bad one now...

Sri Lankan Cricket team attacked in Pakistan... ok before that... Pakistani Stand up comedians were forced to leave India after the Bombay incident !

I agree that the magnitude of these two incidents is way different, but still SHAME on people who are involved in spreading the terror and reacting like a bunch of idiots to it !

ART, SPORTS, MUSIC and similar, are things that go a long way in helping bridge some gaps at-least between the people if not between two nations... and such acts ensure that everything is over in a minute...

I doubt if SL or any other international team is going to play a match in Pakistan EVER, and I am not sure if any Pakistani Comedian or Musician would perform in India...

but what I know is somewhere someone, in the streets of these nations, irrespective of the boundaries would continue to love how JayaSurya has kicked some bowler butt, how Wasim Akram has made the batsmen go clueless (I love watching his action... every single time), how Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has made millions of people love him..

Damn the Political Agendas which has separated the people and drew these limits !!!

The Happening news...

~Hindi speaking community attacked in Guwahati
~Protests against non-Mumbaikars staying in Mumbai
~10,000 North Indians flee from Nashik in 48 hours
~The riots because of some remarks made by Karunanidhi over the Ram Setu (I think he said that Ram was a made up character, and that the Ram Setu did not have any value as such, not sure though)

And loads more which are not doing any good to the country !!! and to add to this, there are people, and thousands of them who blindly follow what these so called leaders have to say...

I wish the people who play with the people of our country, ROT in hell...

Its not really the feelings or emotions or situations, but the people associated with them that leave a certain taste in the mouth towards them and we end up having an opinion in general...

Statements like

All men are the same...
Whats the Point...
Why do women have to spend so much time doing make up...
Bosses Suck

are all generalizations which get substantiated because of similar individual experiences, a lot of which revolve around relationships...

I feel sorry to write this, but I also end up making quite a typical fool of myself every single time I start liking someone...

I like to surrender, let myself loose, expose the weaker parts of my personality, look for support and assurance, whenever I start liking someone... and more often than not, I end up like an idiot watching himself do all this...

I either over do things and try to give whatever I have, and like a normal human being, EXPECT myself to be treated like THE ONE; or the women who cannot understand how to handle me are bigger idiots than me.. whatever the case maybe.. it all ends up in a disaster and pain...

There ends the second part of the post that I had written about why I am not too good with relationships :P

But still, like I believe... Hope is my word !!! and God Uncle my friend, who ensures that people like Tushar, Bindiya, Ruchi, Bharti, Arobindo, Abhishek, Rains, Monika and a few more, fill-in for him and be my angels !!!

Ban Diesel

Delhi's environment Secretary says

"We will come down with a strong hand and ban registration of diesel vehicles in Delhi if everything else fails."

Its easier this way for everyone isn't it? Because cleaning up the already created mess is something that we see as impossible!!!

Has anyone in these departments heard of out-of-box thinking, innovating ideas etc... I think the government work also needs to be outsourced to a few corporates !!!

He carried on by saying :
"Delhi can ban the use of any fuel it wants. We have the legal powers under the Air Pollution (Prevention and Control) Act, 1981, to ban the use of any fuel in the capital."

Does anyone have legal powers to stop them?

These days, the minimum temperature in Delhi is about 2 degs more than the maximum of where I am living... I say too hot !!! :D

And I read another piece of news a while back about a 8th standard student shooting one of his classmates dead... I am wondering if this is just a start of many more such incidents to happen... I hope not... God please :(
